Put off my flu jab because I was busy …. Got taken to A&E by ambulance on Monday night with a temp of 40 . They were worried it was sepsis . I was swabbed & tested positive for Influenza A . It’s not been nice . Now on antivirals.

You’re bloody late to the party on this one. The riots were fucking terrifying but seems no one cares about health and social care staff.

Depends what medication you are taking, it is confusing as the rules are not super clear but where I live they do check and I wasn’t eligible anymore.

Sadly the criteria have tightened so my medication no longer qualifies me - I can afford it so got mine privately but many immunosuppressed like me won’t be able to - very frustrating
