Ukraine has been sourcing uranium from SA for our nuclear power sector, and there is significant potential for further cooperation across transport, energy, and mining infrastructure. Many Australian companies are well placed to benefit from our growing partnership.

It is high time to seize the 300 billion dollars in frozen Russian sovereign assets to provide weapons for Ukraine and, in due course, support its reconstruction. The only way to stop this war is to raise the cost for Russia—through stronger sanctions and deeper isolation of the pariah state

Ukraine's Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko discusses ongoing peace talks taking place in Geneva. “Our position is the following: to force Russia into peace, we need to be united, and we need to exert that pressure jointly, which includes imposing more sanctions,” Mr Myroshnychenko told Sky News Australia. “That means more sanctions on the Russian companies and the Russian leaders and entities. “This is how we can force Russia into peace.”
