It really seems like there’s an issue with the in-ear monitors. Everyone has had timing trouble tonight.
I know that a lot of people are watching #Eurovision night and are hearing some bum notes and are wondering if these people can sing. They can. I've seen them perform live multiple times. It could be something with the mix; it could be nerves, but they didn't get here because they are bad singers.

Someone on Threads unironically asked if “authenticity” was coming back to ESC since the 5 non-qualifiers were the only songs all in English (non-native language in each of the 5 countries).

I took some away from the contest during and after the 2024 edition in Malmo, but am very glad to be getting my love for the contest back as we approach May 2025. I think to start my journey back in, I'll go through a song-by-song rating of this year's contest.
