PGMOL is effectively a referees union and college, while VAR is the technology tasked with oversight of correcting referees.
PGMOL operates VAR.
Now do you see which acronym is the problem?
The video Im referring to is the second vid on this page if anyone feels the need to watch.

Its laughable that Sky who pride themselves on being "the home of football" are trying to shape opinion with such faulty analysis.

If anyone still doubts a media desire for United to be both inconsistent and poor to generate higher viewing figures, then that video/segment is surely a wake up call.

The vid then finishes by saying Conte is the closest match without even showing any metric.

Now I realise Sky have to fill time and United is good viewing numbers, but really?

Its the equivalent of a youtube vid with a scantily clad model as a still titled "IF YOURE DOING THIS, STOP NOW".

Oliver Glasner, whose style really has nothing in common with Sir Alex other than speed. Again given that 12/13s speed was created by specifically getting the ball to RvP quickly, once aqain its not actually a comparable metric.

Roberto Martinez, comparing only his Premiership stints at Everton and Wigan, the last seasone of which was 2016 ffs, completely discounting any evolution over the last 10 years, wwhen in fact theres been a signifcant change.

They then overlay some absurdly misleading stats over the top.

Kieron McKenna, but only his Prem season, which really doesnt serve as a comparison at all as his side really didnt have the quality to be able to play freely in the Premiership.

Yes I have to admit that I was really worried for the hits he took towards the end of his stint, but most of us still only have fond memories of his time in charge.

Him returning could be huge given that the players fit his early style like a glove and also the wealth of talent in the academy.

Given the rubbish hes been spouting this season, theres every reason to believe he really doesnt know about Shea.

For me he seems to get given a get out of jail card each season because hes English, Im not sure a foreign manager wouldve been given an equal length of rope.

I think Ashworths domestic bias helped him massively.

Wilcox has grown on me a little, but, he was an academy manager while weve allowed some pretty good academy staff of our own to move on to the same jobs elsewhere.

The sight of Berrada though always makes me cringe just because I remember that Guardiola smirk when he was asked about his hiring.

Although they dropped the principle of a ManUtd manager when appointing vanGaal and Jose their style was needed at the time they were appointed.

But there will never be a time where we need Howe. He is the very opposite of a Man Utd manager.

For me it just shows the sheer amount of pressure that players at our club feel about top4
