To be clear, if you don't want to engage with enemies or combat in block game you by and large won't have to. If you want to peacefully build, gather and craft, you'll be able to do that by avoiding places with enemies. Block game won't constantly try to spawn monsters in darkness around the player

I'm telling you man. Your life will be 1000% more fun if you let go of feeling antagonized by people with different opinions about entertainment and instead approach conversations with curiosity.
when i was a bit younger i talked to someone who had just played Home Alone 2 for sega megadrive and insisted, genuinely, that it was superior to all mega man games. i was glued to their every word. i think people with weird ass opinions like this must be cherished.
