I really want to like Mayonaka Heart Tune. Like... I REALLLLLLY want to like it, the premise is fucking great, but half of every episode is just stupid as fuck, and the main character it purposely this really stupid character in design for no reason. And the other half of the episode i great.

Hey @arlieth.com you follow the scene. When did NA 3S players start honoring judgment as the winner of a game? Evo and other tournaments have been replaying judgment since 2001, but all the new players are telling me “we follow coop cup rules and judgment is awarded the win”.

At a local viet restaurant we like, they’re usually kind of busy on weekends. There was a table of 8, 6 older adults 2 older teen children. This table was finished with their meal before we even got there, left overs boxed, check was on the table. We were told about 30-45 min wait. About 6 parties.

Wait... 3S players honor judgment in the cases of draw game now? It's hyper skewed to certain characters, Chun gets a 21 hit combo if she lands super so she automatically gets way more points than pretty much any other character, that's why it always goes to her. When did we start honoring judgment?

Guess I'm ready for Earth GW. I spent a bunch of time trying to make Threo or Dante work but couldn't hit 100% TA without barring up a weapon. Then tossed in these 2(three) nerds and it worked out better.

No hate, but I don't like the direction GDQ has gone with its game selection the past few years. I completely understand why, GOTTA GET NEWEST HIT GAME, GOTTA GET CLASSIC HIT GAME, AWFUL BLOCK... But the games just aren't fun or interesting anymore. We're not showing cool runs with fun tricks.

I'm watching a couple in their late teens play Dispatch. I've watched a number of people play this game, and it's crazy how differently young people playing this game see the game compared to older people.

At this point the manga is better in the writing and what it’s trying to portray, but the anime showing the dances in action really adds so much.
Either way what a truly beautiful series.

Playing a game that takes place in modern day Japan. You can tell the devs know absolutely nothing about Japan outside of anime, within seconds of playing the game. Girl lives in a 3 Bedroom Skyrise apartment. Lol.

More on Wandance, up to the first competition. I adore every single character in this series. Each personality is just so bright, mannerisms are nailed so well but all of them feel like real people and not exaggerated ideas. They all feel so genuinely real.

Reading wandance, I think the anime is better than manga. Hikari is much more Hikari in the anime, but on that, I haven’t loved a female lead as much as I do her in quite some time now. She’s just a dorky high school girl, but her personality shines so brilliantly bright.

Been super emotional the past day for some reason. Past few days have been a fun little escape from life. Got really happy watching Granbluefest, finally won a tournament series in Alpha 3 that I've been playing in for the past 5 years after many 3rds, but not looking forward to new years.

Finally won one of Rizone's
Alpha 3 tournaments. Granted no Choiboy or Kyokuji this tournament, but I finally got one.
Hands mostly worked, a handful of dropped moves but outside of my very first game (hands absolutely didn't work), ran it under hot water and they worked.

When I look at the new anime season or pick up new manga, I kind of sort the concepts into two basic categories. "This series is only the synopsis" and "The synopsis is only the base setting." Both can be written well and both can be written poorly, but it carries a lot of if i want to consume it.

Only two chapters in the new Granblue main story, and it’s going hard. So many new things, big shake ups with characters, and links to older storylines.

Finally redid my phone's music after a long time. Put a lot of older Hamasaki Ayumi back on. Man, she's not the pinnacle of singers or anything, but her old discography has so many amazing songs.

LOL, just did an initial phone interview at a place, things sounded pretty good, slightly lower pay than I would have liked for the position but not drastically low... no benefits. 1 week of PTO a year, no sick days.
Pay would have ended up being roughly minimum wage after i factored in insurance.

I've been watching the Ranma 1/2 remake. I loved Ranma as a teenager, and I'm starting to feel the remake is better than the original. They learned a lot of things with the Urusei Yatsura remake involving animation, timing, and impact. They've improved on all these aspects that lacked.
