I am really sad to hear this - I have known of him all my life right back to the heady days of emerging pop music and particularly the folk band Pentangle - but loved his solo albums too

@jfang.bsky.social thank you for the follow - i am also a pianist of some renown (NOT) but more an organist (still of questionable quality but sometimes rising to the challenge) not retired yet, but should be so i can take up the Northumbrian pipes (which I have had a few years) - will I make it? 🙃
