i finished the book. aikman seems like an alright guy, all things considered, but the rest of them are bound for hell. johnson is a capricious, cruel monster. switzer was an oafish, drunk charlatan and dilettante. my deepest hope is that jerry jones ends up in cocytus.

i’m 3/4 of the way through this book and so far my insights are:

- every single person associated with the Cowboys except Aikman and a few others are at best divas and at worst legitimate criminals
- even in writing a tell-all exposé, pearlman sure does seem interested in carrying water for Jerry!

I make no effort to come off as anything than what I am - an American who grew up in Texas - and I know whatever French and Spanish i speak has an accent, but yesterday someone asked if i was Spanish or Argentinian. This joins Irish, Canadian, and German in "nationalities people have assumed i am".
