seriously though, while i do love the very episodic nature of the first 9 half-hours, obviously Primal needed to shift to having some type of long-term plot-line if it was going to resist becoming stale - and i'm definitely intrigued !!

i guess all of Primal is at least partially built around the idea of anticipation - but this episode REALLY is. just quite impressed with how they transferred the anxiety of our duo into the audience, making us wait to figure out what the hell the title creature even is.

i really do understand the desire to meander around and advance each plot a tiny bit at a time, but we shouldn't be at episode 5/10 with so little actually occurring, right?
