I also took those two TGVs, plus one in China. The Shinkansen (bullet train) is the best…. roomy, quiet (Japanese culture) and clean. It’s the best way to travel.

I am retired, have a car and do not "need" public transport. Many in Montreal must use the bus and metro as they have no other means of transport.

Large cities pay very high municipal taxes and their residents expect the necessary services in return.

I’m concerned about workers, students, and the sick whose lives have become very difficult as a result of the STM strikes.

/2 It’s a real conundrum: do you prevent the unions from striking or do you consider public transport an essential uninterrupted service?

A few months ago Air Canada was forced back to work as air travel was considered an essential service.

We also have rights it’s called "la loi du bien-être". The strike is making life difficult for the common man, especially those that do not have a car and cannot afford to take an Uber.

Legault and his Caquistes are disgraceful, humiliating and inglorious. The 2026 provincial elections cannot come soon enough.
