I feel like the two Disney+ seasons of Doctor Who are a perfect case study in this. Just....not quite enough room to hit some of the same beats that earlier seasons reached easily.

But if centaurs WERE real, they'd probably be pissed at well-meaning two-legs constantly asking them centaur questions, like their only purpose in the world was to explain their culture to the two-legs.

It is deeply important to me that Galadriel is right about Sauron still being out there, and also that Galadriel is flawed and hard and brutal in her single-mindedness as a commander rather than being some wafty sad Cassandra figure in the background

I genuinely couldn’t be happier! I shall now say that missing episode recoveries are dead in the water, and wait for the universe to answer. :)
