I refuse to listen to someone who sounds like the Rockbiter tell me about vaccines and public health.

Saw Good Night and Good Luck on Broadway tonight, and it was incredibly timely and well done. George Clooney injected more humor into the role than I remember from David Straitharn in the movie, but it wasn’t unwelcome.

Shout out to all our National Parks, including the ones in and around the DC area. We went on a big walk around Roosevelt Island this weekend, and it was lovely and tranquil.

Nah, you’ll just vote to screw over the people of DC.
My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

This is where you go to tell the National Park Service to restore the word "transgender" in its entry on the Stonewall monument.

Stonewall National Monument (U.S. National Park Service)
Before the 1960s, almost everything about living openly as a lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) person was illegal. The Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1969 is a milestone in the quest for LGB civil rights a...

Not me, liking every single reel and TikTok about Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, Saquon Barkley and his daughter, Jalen Hurts, Cooper DeJean and every other thing about the Eagles win.

In today’s edition of the world is heavy and I carry what I can, I’m choosing to celebrate the pregnancy of someone I know who has struggled with infertility, and I’m getting in a workout that’s kicking my ass. Also going to enjoy dinner with a good friend. I don’t have reps I can call, so 1/2

To add insult to injury, DC residents, many of whom ARE feds, do not have representation they can call to protest anything happening to the federal government right now. I WISH I could call a senator and say don’t confirm Patel, but all I can do is encourage my friends with senators to do so.

Listening to the GLOW soundtrack on this dreary Friday morning and the Warrior continues to give me life. Damn you, Netflix, for canceling this show. It really was the best.

It is 15 minutes before this flight to Chicago boards, and there are at least five people lined up in the boarding group 2 lane. No one in group 1. WHY, people? Oh...now it's 8.

A random giant plastic skull ended up in our front garden bed. We have some cutesy Halloween decorations up; this one is a bit more spooky. Also...where did it come from?
