Looking for a side dish to go with pork chops. Had a can of cannellini beans & some grape tomatoes about to go off. Reddit came through! No amounts, but then I just eyeballed everything anyway. 350° for 20 min; added the cheese & another 10. Oh, forgot the thyme; didn’t matter.

3/4 of the current crew do not care about bleach scent. Then there’s Sweetie. I have to close her in a room to clean the kitchen counters for her own safety bc she’ll lick up the bleach. This is she after a tiny spritz to get up some mess from Leopold:

Leopold is feeling better! Meowed good an loud for treats! Didn’t eat any, but still. And he ate his pill pocket which he didn’t yesterday. And may have consumed a few particles of the soft food on the plate in the picture. Well take the improvement. (Padma is angry that he gets special treatment)

Since we got two new perches, there are two perch boxes. Brought one in to the bedroom. Sweetie retreats to it happily, but she never _looks_ happy.

The result of today’s explosive baking. Should have kept it a single loaf so each slice would be taller. This is the recipe. It’s extremely easy & tasty thus my interest in trying for a different shape.

Susan got too hot I assume & left so I put Sweetie in the coveted perch. Her tail is still switching and I got a complaint growl for picking her up and putting her there, but also, she hasn’t budged.

First winter cactus (Schlumbergera) bloom of the year! Ignore dying leaf stalk of the other plant. Not dead enough to cut off yet.

In all the appliance excitement yesterday I almost missed that the last orchid cactus bloom made it! Terrible picture, but proof it happened.

Leopold says that he’s just glad he’s getting his bathroom treats again. With the space all out of order, I couldn’t get to them for a _whole 24 hours_. The horror!

🎶 Hallelujah! Hallelujah 🎶 The dryer won’t go back further and we could have pulled the washer out to be even, but there’s storage out of view that’s easier to reach this way so fine. (Cat for scale) Running the dryer rn on the slightly damp flannel sheets. B said he felt heat outside, is whee!

Out with the old. We realized part of the washer lid had broken as well, so it was really really time. Gotta take a towel to the door to get yup all the yucky lint I mopped. We’ll be ready for a test load when we’re done.
