Missing @webdevconf.com this year but here’s my excuse.
I’m so grateful to be able to travel. For years, anxiety and agoraphobia meant that I couldn’t. It never completely goes away but I’m so glad I have tools to manage it now so I don’t miss out on things like this.

8. One of my most treasured memories: Being in the Cheverny in France earlier this year, cycling through vineyards, lounging by the pool, eating a picnic in the woods, sunny but not too hot, spending time with my partner. I felt properly relaxed and properly happy.

Been quiet on here because I’ve been chilling out in Bordeaux with my ❤️ AND I got to see my mum for the first time in 2.5 years. Apart from a 24 hour bout of food poisoning, this has been a perfect trip.

I cooked myself not one but two delicious meals today. What am I a wizard?
On the left, sardines on toast. On the right, chicken “ramen” (in no way traditional or proper, but I did make the broth myself).

We made fresh pasta and 12 hour beef shortrib ragu and it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my whole life.
