🍁 Canadian 🪶 Métis ♾️
Leftist at heart, progressive in practice. Fully flawed, pragmatic realist. 💜
🌎 Solidarity, love & unity ✊🏻
Winter hardens us.
Spring softens us.
Summer makes it worth it.

Meritocracy is how exploitation gets called achievement.
If labour created wealth, workers wouldn’t be poor.

Happy #socialistsunday & #marxistmonday to those who observe ✊🏻

Every warning is called hysterical.
Every alarm is mocked as dramatic.

They lie as easily as they breathe.
We are no longer sleepwalking.

Do you hear the bullets yet?
Or are we still pretending nothing is happening?

This is how it starts.
Violence, excused.
Flimsy excuses for lethal force.
Power, unaccountable.
Liberty on the ground while uniforms insist it was necessary.
January 24, 2026 at 11:18 PM
Noise is inevitable.
Progress is optional.
Keep walking.

Bloody freezing! (Hey, I'm a sunny Okanagan kid, this is cold for us!)

Mmm pub food!
Last time my mom and I were out for Caesar Sunday we shared the following spread 😋
Don't laugh, this is at our beloved Kal pub, the oldest building in town, est. 1892, that's super old for western Canada!
The Kal has over 100 flavors of wings, and their pizza is yum too!

The market is soaring and people are drowning.

That isn’t a paradox.

If the system rewards suffering, the system is the problem.

Happy #marxistmonday comrades ✊🏻

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 😄 I love it!
The image below explains part of our cultural teachings. It is what I constantly remind myself of at work. People insult me and call me awful things, then there comes a time when those people need help from our office, and I help them. It provides opportunity to practice the lesson.
January 18, 2026 at 7:14 PM
One punches down, the other punches back.
Funny how outrage only appears when power feels disrespected, not when workers are. 🙄
January 18, 2026 at 5:46 PM
Words matter. Definitions matter. And gaslighting people about who actually lives off whose labour doesn’t change reality.

When wealth flows upward from workers to people who don’t work at all, that’s not socialism. That’s the system functioning as designed.

Happy #socialistsunday comrades ✊🏻

Satire cuts because it tells the truth out loud.
Cruelty isn’t law enforcement and harm isn’t patriotism.
Mockery simply holds up the mirror.
January 18, 2026 at 12:52 AM
Extreme wealth and extreme poverty are two ends of the same system.

One hoards more than anyone could spend. The other lacks the basics to survive.

This is the result of policy choices. We can change it. We must.

Every choice costs something.
Every non-choice does too.
There’s no path without loss, only different kinds of it.
That’s the human ordeal.

I know I can stop selling you on them, but, they were also the party who gave Canada universal healthcare in 1966, headed by Tommy Douglas.

My favorite politicians are all (mostly) NDP 🥰

If your ancestors arrived uninvited and stayed, immigration isn’t the problem.
Selective memory is.
