They judge us women for our looks, then judge us again for caring about them.

It’s not logic, it’s a self-serving double-bind meant to keep women feeling small.

It’s their insecurity showing, not our flaw.

This is what conservatives really mean by “deregulation.”

Lobbyists write the rules, corporations poison the food supply, and politicians smile while cashing the cheques. Because in the US, profit is the whole political religion.

RFK looks like he's ingested more than a few “forever chemicals.” 🤮

If giving people food, housing, education, and time with their families is “socialism,” then maybe the problem isn’t socialism 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s the people who think basic dignity is dangerous.

Society should help people live, not make them suffer.

There is no 'Cost of Living Crisis', it is the Cost of Greed.

Until you cut the record profits of the billionaires it will never end.

They make far too much money, they NEED to make less.

It’s worth noting that Poilievre’s new campaign manager is a Christian ultranationalist who is responsible for Blaine Higgs (former NB Premier), etc.

He’s literally Project 2025 Canada edition.

Targeting the vulnerable is disgusting and right on brand for the Con party.

When a gov’t uses constitutional overrides to target vulnerable youth, that’s not protection, it’s cruelty.

There’s something rotten alright. When the top 1% hoard the wealth while everyone else toils just to survive, that’s a rigged system, and it’s working exactly as designed.

Happy #marxistmonday to those who observe 💜

No grand manifesto. No secret club. Just the absence of theism.

Funny how “lack of belief” shakes people more than actual harm ever does.

If you fear a billionaire becoming a multi-millionaire, but you’re unbothered by kids going hungry or people dying without healthcare…

Then the problem isn’t economics. It’s your moral compass.

A society that protects hoarded wealth over human life is already failing. Socialism is the answer. 💜

Watching Dallas Brodie rise in the House to abolish Truth and Reconciliation Day was sickening.

Imagine using your platform to erase survivors & sanitize history. This isn’t pride in Canada, it’s denial. Strong countries face the truth, they don't legislate erasure.

Agree! And he's building and mending relationships at home too.

I listen to my elders, I take to heart what they say. And they are telling me that PM Carney is treating my people in a way that they haven't seen from a leader at his level ever. Ever.

That means A LOT. 💜🧡💙❤️
I do not hold a membership to any political party in Canada and I can tell you PM Carney is out there doing EXACTLY what I voted for him to do— someone with economic literacy to build relationships for Canada around the USA. That was my top job for him.

PM Carney is the first PM to pay respects to the leader of the Métis, who 140 years ago was executed by the Canadian govt for defending the rights of my people.

This act of reconciliation means more than I can properly express.

Tommy Douglas didn’t build Medicare so people could feel good about Canada, he built it so people like me could survive.

I am only alive because of the vision of leaders who refused to put a price tag on human life.

I honour him best by defending the system that saved me. 💜

One of my fave politicians, Tommy Douglas didn’t dream of Canada as a jewel because of wealth but because of courage.

A country judged by how it treats the sick, the poor, the vulnerable.

We have to fight for the Canada he imagined, not the one billionaires demand. Rise together.

Speaking at tonights Louis Riel celebration was one of the honours of my life.

In this political climate, it matters more than ever that we show up, speak up, & live our Métis and indigenous culture out loud, unapologetically.

Respect history, the good, bad, & ugly.

I hope we made Riel proud 🥲✊🏻🧡

Louis Riel Day. Fiddle tunes, washboards, kids weaving between elders on the dance floor, Louis watching over a hall full of laughter & sashes.

Culture isn’t a performance, it’s lived out loud, on folding chairs, in community halls, in music & dance.

Riel’s legacy lives because we keep showing up🧡
