Every warning is called hysterical.
Every alarm is mocked as dramatic.

They lie as easily as they breathe.
We are no longer sleepwalking.

Do you hear the bullets yet?
Or are we still pretending nothing is happening?

Every lie told by this regime, no matter how brazen, shocking, or dehumanizing, makes perfect sense when I think about their claim that immigrants were eating pets in Ohio. It's not about evidence or credibility, it's about pushing narratives to facilitate ethnic cleansing.

No lie is too big, or too ridiculously obvious, for a regime built on lies, cheating and corruption.

This is how it starts.
Violence, excused.
Flimsy excuses for lethal force.
Power, unaccountable.
Liberty on the ground while uniforms insist it was necessary.

History is painfully clear about where this road goes. There is no version where sanctioned street violence leads to stability.

Once it’s allowed, the rule of law is dead.

What follows is escalating brutality, widening targets, and a population trained into silence.

When the American empire finally collapses, historians won't be stunned by the greed of the elite; they'll be stunned by the loyalty of the poor. The working class didn't just vote against their own interests. They cheered as ICE murdered them.

It wasn't a very long poem to start with.
There is quite literally nobody left in the "first they came for..." poem.

They're murdering white 30-something US citizens on Main Street in broad daylight.
i think the main shift here is that this was a middle aged white guy with a license to carry. the new out-group encompasses not just racial minorities but all regime dissidents (this is completely unsustainable btw)

There were eight ice "agents" attacking this guy, wrestling with him. And then they shot and killed him.

EIGHT!

How fucking much is enough?
How much is Congress willing to accept before reigning in this horrific, out of control bullshit. How many people have to be murdered?
How many???

It’s a familiar move: invent a “real” culture, say it’s under threat, then blame outsiders & wrap it in manifest destiny bs.

Canada was never a single culture or an “untamed wilderness.” That story erases Indigenous peoples, mixed identities, and everyone who doesn’t fit a narrow myth of belonging.
'Canada is culture of pioneers who tamed an untamed wilderness.'

People blame immigrants because accountability is hard.
Real solutions take work.
Scapegoats are cheap.
And when people are struggling, fear is easy to exploit.
We all deserve leaders who solve problems instead of selling blame.

I’m glad the good guys won the day at UBC. Hate and denialism were met with loud, clear refusal. Hundreds stood up, shouted down Brodie, and stood with survivors.
The schools caused harm. That’s indisputable.
Survivors matter.
Truth matters.
Respect for history matters.

It’s restraint. It’s solidarity. It’s leadership without tantrums.

Authoritarians bully because they don’t know how to govern.

Canadians do steady hands, allied democracies, and not embarrassing ourselves on the world stage.
