I think that trans people should aggressively adopt the phrase "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" until it is literally ours forever and the cis can have it back on a provisional basis.

Some people are like, "Cis-by-default isn't real!" and it's like
You sure about that?
I've met people that really do seem like they fall into that category. They just sorta look at their gender and go, "yeah, ok, fine. This is where I am I guess."
They just don't mind it all that much.

And, I'm Californian, I am RIGHT NOW being effected by these policy decisions he's making, not just hypothetical ones. The man is a slime ball and I want no part of him.
If you want an idea of how a politician will govern, check their record on trans rights. It's a litmus test.

I entirely get what you were saying and would have answered completely different but the "shhh" hit me the wrong way.
But yeah, sometimes you have to say, "hi, I'm who's being effected," picture and see if that has an effect.
