I used to love summer back in the day where temperatures were still consistent and when I didn't have so much to worry about.
20 years later, I fucking hate it, cuz I can't hide my body under clothes and while I love swimming n water, my fear of being perceived makes me not want to go.

Pulling this post from @cherryquill.bsky.social twitter bc this is SUPER fucked up. They had already checked in, had to fight for a new disability room after getting kicked out by staff, and the new room is NOT accessible for our friend. Absolutely shameful display from the Gaylord.

Let's be clear-- a business being "short-staffed" is a *choice by ownership* to maximize profits at the expense of working conditions and customer satisfaction. It is enshittification manifest.
"We're short-staffed" is a bullshit passive-voice way to say "We are greedy".

I work the front desk at a hotel, and all my coworkers and even my manager are amazing. But the owners are greedy bastards who refuse to hire enough staff and leave us to deal with the angry customers their policies and staffing shortages create. So I am totally with you on this one.

At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.
It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.
