*Positive news* Despite global declines in biodiversity, we find conservation has driven improvements in >100 species. This suggests with greater resource allocation to more species, conservation can halt and reverse biodiversity loss! First PhD paper: doi.org/10.1371/jour...

While this type of change is being driven by different actors, I believe funders can take advantage of their position/power to push it further and go beyond funding (e.g. promoting standards). Definitely food for thought!

Funders play such an important role in setting requirements that drive change on the ground, while being flexible/open to discussions about how these work in practice. Thank you for pushing for best practice in the social dimensions of these projects!
