I suggest anarchist-communism, myself: the social revolution must transition from capitalism to a post-state society without passing through the authoritarianism of state socialism. But, yes, join the side of the social revolution!

Among other things, according to the decision:

- 250 security prisoners will be released.
- 1,700 residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the events of October 7 and were arrested after the massacre will be released.

It’s so rare though! I wish this sort of portrayal was the normal one - even units like the Tanith should be much more war crimey. The difference between the atrocities of the Blood Pact, say, and the basic Guard should be one of style rather than substance really.

A decent comparison is Einsatzgruppen mixed with ISIS but as thoroughly organised soldiers, disciplined and regular.

The Guard are portrayed quite well in the Hammer & Bolter short about the Genestealer Cult where they start shooting civilians.

100% yes. I once wrote a fic about a unit tasked w/ executions of “liberated” civilians who were guilty of not having died fighting the enemy.

The Guard are fanatical religious fundamentalists by our standards even if they’re just “normal” by 40K standards.
