The anarcho-communist trash monster that your reactionary uncle warned you about, but I’m not *too* weird about it. Genderfluid, Mad, bi, disabled.
I saw some big gold bamboo hoop earrings emblazoned with “ACAB” across them on Etsy and I tell you, the deep need I have for them now is something else

Replace "dumb" and "stupid" with "fucking" or "cunting" in expressing your disdain for something and if you feel like you're not comfortable posting something with such harsh language consider the fact that you've been using ableist slurs this whole fucking time.

This was the other day’s book haul. I have a talent for getting sweet deals on second hand shit on eBay so put it to good use for my evening reading material. Have read Anarchy by Malatesta so far, will be delving into the Berkman tonight. Thought it’d be a good idea to actually learn some theory!

Don’t use an accessibility aid as a place for your second-rate jokes. Use them to give the necessary context for visually impaired people, so that they’re not missing out on things people without sight loss take for granted. Let’s make Bluesky a friendly, accessible place 🖤
PSA—
Alt text is NOT the place for jokes OR meaninglessly brief token captions. It’s not a toy or an Allyship Badge.
It’s a tool meant to help people like us understand the visual content you take for granted.
If you won’t use it for that, don’t waste our time pretending to care with half-measures.

one of the most corrosive habits of online dunk culture is making it imperative that everyone be correct at all times and making it harder to be like "oh shit i didn't know that" and then change your mind, which is something that is normal, healthy, and good, imo.
its perfectly okay to change your position on something when you receive new information

Guess I should do an intro? 🥰

I’m Ellis, I’m 31, I use they/them pronouns and I live on the rainy fascist island. ☔️

I have another account under a different pseudonym for my fiction, but here I want to document my non-fiction reading. I’ve missed learning so that’s what I’m doing with this! 📚
