When we were little, Mom had worked all day to make the traditional Turkey Day spread. My little sister ate an ungodly amount of turkey before the rest of us sat. Then she had some creamed corn. And proceeded to throw up across the dining room table. We had spaghetti for 5 yrs after that.

For a board of trustees to shut down their approval of promotion and tenure decisions is beyond the pale, and should be questioned and contested through every means available. Shutting down process precedes shutting down...other things.
