Read video games EU's "position paper." A very poor quality memo. Many claims and no supporting evidence. Drawing lines in the sand ahead of lobbying against regs/legs. Need to challenge the legal "status quo" as defined or push for transparency on what we're buying and what is being marketed to us.

Amortization expense is not a spreadsheet trick. If I spend $500 on rights that will last 5 years, this is an asset that helps me make money over 5 years. At the end of year 1, my rights asset is reduced by $100 and I report $100 of amortization expense, relating to revenue generated from rights.
