ABC News is still calling RFK Jr. a “vaccine skeptic.” The dude was one of the most prominent anti-vaccine activists for decades. There’s video of him in 2023 saying that there’s no vaccine which is safe and effective. You can call him an anti-vaccine activist!

New analysis from CBO of the "Big Beautiful Bill" shows the bottom 20% get poorer, not much change for most of America, & the top 10% get meaningfully richer - and that's before tariffs

The "Big Beautiful Bill" was the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in history

bottom 20% poorer, top 10% 2.7% richer, everyone else 0.1 to 1.5% better off.

New from CBO: year-by-year health coverage effects of the "Big Beautiful Bill."

The law kicks 10 million off their health insurance (the difference between the orange and dotted blue line). It also does nothing to address the cliff from the blue to the green, for another 5 million losing coverage.

Trump take line, kick 10 million people off health insurance. Orange man indeed bad.

In a single act, Trump is undoing significant portions of the health coverage gains of the last 60 years.

Percent of people without health insurance, going back to 1963. Huge declines following the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, down to roughly 12%. Creeps back up to 15%. Then comes the ACA, down to 9%. Creeps back up a little. Then comes Biden improvements to the ACA, down to 8%. The "Big Beautiful Bill" pushes it back up to 12%.
