.NET dev by day, tech tinkerer by night. Married, no kids—just two spoiled dachshunds. RV camper chasing adventures.
I have a really weird stack of tool I use for my own side projects. Claude Code for the most of the heavy lifting. Warp for my terminal, I love its AI auto-complete. Windsurf or Rider as my IDE, yet again it wins because of its tab-completion.

Everyone now and again I will see someone use the phrase "woke mind virus" seriously and I will wonder what it is like to be them, and to have a head full of rancid pudding where a brain is meant to be

If you are trying to setup universal links in iOS, while using a physical device, and you have `?mode=developer` included at the end of your `applink` entry, then you must have `Associated Domains Development` option turned on in the `Developer` section in settings.

For those in the tech industry, how do you use AI outside of work? I’ve used it to clean up my terrible writing, to build whole SwiftUI views, to scripts that make my dev life easier. Basically anything to help me focus on doing the things I like to do and help me get more done with my limited time.

We don't learn from history because we haven't experienced those events, and humans don't learn well from being told things, we have to experience them for ourselves. History is the parent telling their kid not to make the same mistakes; humanity is the kid certain that their parent knows nothing.
I’ve been thinking about how history seems to be repeating itself, in its worst ways. Fascism, mysogyny and hate all seem to be on the rise, around the world. I wish we’d learn from history and try not to repeat ourselves.
