Former physicist, now principally a husband/dad/friend who paddles and takes snaps. Photos are my own.
Yes, truly awful and the opposite of what the world needs.

Yes, we do.

Or was it a joke?

Phew. So you're naive? 😁 Or perhaps it's me. I had heard that musical history is full of artists that have been ripped off by their promoters, so I was a bit doubtful about your comment.

Are you by any chance, a promoter?

Pathetic and at the same time hilarious.

Said cardboard model.

Absolutely, and, not coincidentally, this ~200k is a significantly smaller value than the annual number of deaths we might expect from the cohort of 40 million SNAP recipients.

is that % change in the number of managers and physicians, or expenditure (i.e., salaries) in these two areas?
October 21, 2025 at 10:53 PM
True, but there is a Talking Heads' song from 1980 that proposes that we may be able to alter our appearance by conscious, and possibly unconscious thought. So there's that.

I think this is very common in certain circles. Back in the UK, in the 1980s, I remember the Young Conservatives and their "Hang Nelson Mandela" lapel pins. And privileged, upper class twits displayed similar antisocial behavior at St. Andrew's in the 1950s, according to my uncle.
