I heard they're gonna have a national day of mourning for Winston's window. They're gonna put up a statue of it in parliament grounds. Danyl has a piece in The Listener saying that Winston's window did politics properly.

So I watched the documentary on Jarcinda Ardern and her time as PM yesterday, great film BTW.

The footage of the protests on parliament grounds and the cookers outside her parents hone was infuriating.

Remembering that Winston rubbed shoulders with them, hypocrite.

What absolute neoliberal madness is this?

Governments need to grow a spine and charge tax revenue that benefits the whole population - not just the wealthy.

We need to protect the greater good - not some stupid ideology.
