Well done fella. And thanks for the useful tip which could come in handy the next time I find myself strolling down Surreal Avenue. Unfortunately my replies are 100 dollars a pop and carry a reading tariff of 50%....oooh... only joking.

Building up for the ManU game already which will be an absolute must win and potentially pivotal - nothing like thumping the mankies - natural immune booster. I want to see Amorim playing subbuteo again, I want king mo paying homage to the kop and vice versa. More passion Slot!!

Early days so no real radical moves yet. Slot the Logical. Don't forget - even Klopp lost 6 home games in a row one time - and couldn't find a formula. Look how that turned out. That said, I don't like to see Szlobo at RB. Ever. He's best connecting down the middle. Chelsea A/Manure H. 2 wins☺

This western conifer seed bug? landed on the kitchen window a few hours after the neighbour cut down a pine tree. Relative newcomer to UK I think? Here in Sheffield.

ACL torn, similar to Virgil's 'Pickford' injury. 9 months out of the game? He's young and strong and has the best support possible so should fully recover. He has a natural gift - defensive command and awareness - if he can hack it he'll be exceptional.

some photos of Dhole (Indian wild dogs) for #MammalMonday

#FotoMontag #Photography #Nature #Wildlife 🦊 🌿🖌️
a wild dog, looking behind while standing at the edge of jungle road and grass patch.

the dhole are reddish brown in color, have a bushy black tail. a dhole sniffing the grass, while another one is sitting behind it at the edge of the grass and the road. there are 4 dhole in the picture, the one in front slowly walking towards the photographer, there are 2 way back in the background looking towards the photographer and slowly deciding if they want to walk ahead. one dhole sitting at the edge of the road, and looking ahead to another set of people in the jeep photographing the pack..

Hope Farage&Robinson do not join ranks as election time nears. It could happen. Musk will milk it no doubt. Farage will build a Trumpian regime. The 150000 UTK marchers in London, well, a percentage will become ICE equivalents, intimidators. Yes they will. Fascism or Liberalism? Feels like war.

Nearly got sandwiched between two rickshaws at full speed cause roundabouts are multiple choice apparently.

Sandwiches at a roundabout! Outrageous.
In the UK you might get sausage-rolled at a T junction or get sliced up in a crossroads salad but the worst is to be bapped and spread like butter on a one-way street.
Happy travelling all.

A Personal Anthology is a weekly mailout in which a guest editor (writer, reader, critic, mongoose) picks and introduces a dozen favourite short stories. So if you love short stories and would like to take part, let me know! (DMs open.)

In fact, I have an empty slot NEXT WEEK. Carpe Diem!

Two things I saw today:

1) a newly ploughed field dramatically losing its dry topsoil into today's mad wind like a midwest dustbowl. Twisters and everything. Thick dust across the road.

2) heron taking a massive shit in flight like a firefighting aircraft dousing a blaze

Scotland. So scenic.

If we could only train loads of herons to defecate when flying over newly ploughed fields the farming industry could save millions and not have to import fertiliser from Lithuania and other obscure places. But a newly ploughed field might not be used to semi-digested frog and liquidised fish?

Psithurist:
(n.) the sound of leaves rustling or wind blowing through the trees

I'm guessing the P is silent, without sound, a mere letter ghost but is absolutely needed otherwise the word wouldn't exist? As for the sound of the wind or leaves - every tree has a different sound when the wind works its leaves. I find poplars to be particularly rustly, like mild applause.

Haha...19 seconds! Please reveal your winning secret strategy.

And your expression is a direct reversal?

Fascinating. From the transparent 'cellophane' material to the actual design, shape of the wing itself all brought about by there being at some time in their evolution, too much food in too much air, or too little food on less ground? I wonder where the word haltere comes from?

Esbardu. A lovely Asturian word meaning bear cub.
Some 370 brown bears now live in the Cantabrian mountains on a slow but hopefully sure path to recovery.

Never forget my first sighting of the bearded bone breaker - a pair - above Santa Engracia. What a beautiful big bird. And the commoner griffon, many, superb just hanging in the spiral over Lanjaron. I still have three flight feathers I found!

The Small Boats issue needs to be focused on cos Farage&Tice will be banging on about this until the day of the election. I'd love to see the Green MPs opposing the Reformers in the Commons whenever they can. Greens arguably are a part of the new Left, a vanguard - as the neo-fascists gain ground.
andrewspacey.bsky.social
Zack Polanski will need to consider the fact that many millions of Brits, potential Reform voters, care not a jot about the wealth issue. Don't forget we're Royal loving, feudally conditioned to follow rich people who spout rhetorical nonsense and rouse emotions based around patriotism.
