Witness me screaming into the void as I read through the immigration white paper. Having a job adjacent to such cruelty is really wearing me down. Can’t imagine how actual migrants must be feeling.
@yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social why are you pretending that this white paper isn’t full of bigoted talking points, it lifts many straight from angry right wing tweeters. And isn’t that who you’re doing it for? It’s certainly not because (this time we swear) going after migrants will improve anything.

@drrosena.bsky.social Right wing pandering is not going to help Labour, it is only going to do more harm. You’re simply giving more talking points to people who will just vote reform. Their Facebook pages have thousands of comments like this under such Labour stories.

@drrosena.bsky.social why have Labour decided to lean into this right wing stuff? You’re not going to take votes away from reform you’re just going to legitimise them. Not to mention… shouldn’t you be doing good things in government?

How many times do we have to say it? *Austerity doesn’t work*. More cuts to public spending is economically illiterate and morally indefensible - people didn’t vote Labour to get more Tory austerity. FFS tax extreme wealth, don’t slash public services @patmillsuk.bsky.social

@drrosena.bsky.social will you be voting for or against benefits cuts for the disabled?
March 18, 2025 at 10:01 AM
Apparently the point of the Labour Party is to behave exactly like the tories would if they were in power but with *slightly* fewer slurs.
February 28, 2025 at 12:54 PM
@drrosena.bsky.social now we’re slashing aid funding and putting that into defence… why should any left winger vote for Labour again, or not regret voting for them last time?

@drrosena.bsky.social it’s so disheartening seeing Labour adopt the same language towards migrants as reform and Tory and it will just make it easier for Labour to lose the next election so what exactly is the point? Are you fighting this at all?
