I've worked for 9 years now on this fucking movie and MAYBE it'll get made in year 10, MAYBE I'll be paid one year's average NZ annual salary for all that work, and it will be considered a massive success if that happens

The really depressing thing about Disney's slavishly formulaic, fanservicey capitulation to angry Star Wars fans is that the movie that made those fans angry didn't REALLY break the formula that severely when all's said and done. It just had character development in it.
