Better be a reboot of Tokyo Jungle
There’s a video game announcement coming some time this year that I have not seen anyone even remotely touch on/guess/theorize about, and I think people are going to absolutely lose their minds. I have nothing to do with it, but am genuinely excited for it to be announced just to see the reactions.

Peej has been spiralling since he decided he could do whatever the fuck he wants with everything; from trilogies, to workers rights to housing developments.
the 25th anniversary lotr screenings were worth it almost just to see a rambling, seemingly out-of-it peter jackson try to come up with something to say before each film.

the man did not make a note or give it any forethought, he just sat down and started talking.

Bet PC manufacturers are salivating over the RAM crisis because skyrocketing prices open up possibilities for renting computers to people

I get that Bryan Fuller was excited to make the move to the big screen in DUST BUNNY but holy moly that aspect ratio is ridiculous

Can someone tell Star Trek's production designers that not every set has to be a 15m diameter circle just because their virtual production stage is one?

Screenwriting is dumb. In how many industries would "getting paid, imagine that, the dream" be an acceptable way to think about your work?

America has a housing shortage. Every single housing proposal you see that is not "build more housing" will have the primary effect of pushing up the prices of existing housing, and is therefore, in reality, a plan to enrich current homeowners. In conclusion, build more housing.

Kathleen Kennedy using her exit from Lucasfilm to say "the regime doesn't want interesting or auteur-driven Star Wars movies" is a baller move, I'm sorry

Anyone who claims em-dashes are the sure sign of AI writing is really telling on their own poor reading comprehension tbh

Current US government: At long last, we have repeated the Crimes of the King from classic historical document the Declaration of Independence.

I don't want the tech industry to die, but I would like it to focus on making products people actually want to use instead of chasing the dragon of infinite growth and ruining everything in the process
They can hear you calling them monstrous shitheads trying to destroy society and the economy and it makes them sad.

So you just know the message is to keep doing it more and louder.

It's really funny how real-life advances in and debates around AI have changed how I view Star Trek episodes about synthetic personhood - to the extent that I'm watching an episode about Voyager's Doctor and I'm like, nah, he IS just a computer programme

Have reached the point in my STAR TREK VOYAGER rewatch that overlaps with the episodes I taped from TV as a kid, and there are whole scenes I remember wholesale - not just lines, but line *readings* - from watching the episodes over and over again
