Scott Satterfield is like Mr Mxyzptlk but the only way to get rid of him is to get someone else to hire him.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions... except for that one. That one is fucking stupid.

Shouldn't ANY Congressperson? It's like a minority stakeholder lawsuit. Your interests have to be represented even if you don't have controlling interest.

I feel like I could say this every single day, but where the fuck is he getting the money for this? Like, appropriations just don't exist if Congress doesn't enforce them?

Also based on what I know about summer associate "team building" spending (bars and restaurants) they *have* to be getting net value out of these kids.

This is every seat in my van other than the front seats.

It's their published methodology for what to do for missing data when there isn't any other option. And this isn't a change.

My favorite part of calling any tech support is sitting there pretending like I'm doing the rudimentary things they are asking me to do, while instead I'm watching twitch.

I'm hoping for a more detailed explanation here as well

bsky.app/profile/jc-e...

I think what I'm hearing is that the month-to-month might be OK but anything annualized or averaged is going to be broken?

It doesn't appear to be dishonest, but a legitimate question of how to handle missing data.
This inflation data is a big mess with clear downward bias from methodological assumptions by BLS (essentially assuming zero inflation in Oct)

I'm definitely not understanding. If they are carrying forward September's data, wouldn't that make November's data biased upwards? It would show a bigger one month change?

What else were you gonna do, NOT wakeboard?

I don't think it suggests 0, it just suggests less than 100%

Lower inflation just means a slower price increase. It doesn't mean no price increase. You, as a consumer, are not likely to notice the difference between 2.7, and 3.0.

And yet we all still post on this website

Yeah... "Endure." I wonder if I still have a working DVD player....

I never clocked that one as a fairy but if so definitely unseelie. Probably redcap.

So from the article at least a dozen of them recognize that this is going to cost them seats. So yeah there's two options for what happened...

1) the rest said "no it won't" (fart huffing)

2) the rest said "we are losing those seats either way."

#2 would require some self awareness from the GOP

Would this be the work of Nockers or Pooka?

... or maybe Satyrs?
