I think the problem with nuking the filibuster for straight CRs is it absolutely demolishes all of the posturing you did for the last 3 weeks about the shutdown and whose fault it is.

It's also real bad for you in 2027+. Like the next step on that road is Dems nuking it for debt ceiling hikes.

It took me about 3 tries to get really good at fettuccine and linguine. It's not hard, the trick is running it through the roller more times than you think. Fold and roll, fold and roll, you gotta work it just like bread.

I do it pretty regularly with grocery store eggs with no issue. I do only recommend it for flat noodles and only if you own an electric roller (and honestly cutter too but maybe you have one of those rolling cutters that works).

I don't bother making my own pasta unless I have access to *really* fresh eggs. Like, eggs laid that morning fresh. If you have super fresh eggs, it *is* easier and more enjoyable but that's something you really only need to do a few times per year
