And where is their condemnation, by the way, that all this time Russians are hitting our children, killing people? I don't hear anything from India, to be honest, right now, or from the Emirates.

I'm not saying a US state fracture of a MAGA White House at war with Congress is the only or most likely scenario. Tough moves by Dems, the fracturing of the GOP, firm decisions in the Pentagon, Langley and DoJ can all head it off.

But these risks are now in play in ways unthinkable a decade ago

So if over 2026 it looks increasingly certain that Democrats take control of the House or Senate than watch out for language from Trump, Vance, Miller et al claiming that mid-terms will be "fixed" and Congress "illegitimate".

That's a path to armed ICE or CBP goons storming Congress.
