It's difficult to leave HuffPost, but I'm excited to share this new opportunity (not yet, but soon!) and can confidently say that the work — particularly that covering the far-right extremist takeover of American politics — isn't over. Not by a long shot.

I think recruiting is a good guess — it’s worked before! The Proud Boys followed the GOP grievance-of-the-day with memes and events and real-world violence, Trump and co embraced and boosted them, and their recruiting (and cashflow) skyrocketed.

It's beautiful! And nice of them to provide so much seating!

Or just put a rope in front of it!

I mean, museums very often have displays that you're meant to interact with or take pictures on/around. And if you're not meant to sit on the thing meant for sitting, they usually rope it off at the very least!
