People assume Andrew Cuomo is tough and A Fighter because he always looks angry and acts weird. Mistaking a total lack of emotional self-regulation and wild, self-destructive spite for Masculine Strength is one of the defining political errors to me. No one even tries to keep it together anymore.

First ride of season 53, and first ride on my 1991 Mercian. Stopped at Big Pink where members of The Band and Bob Dylan created timeless music. Grateful to be riding again.

My stereo was missing the right channel for a long time and I finally resolved it and pulled out some vinyl. Eric Dolphy’s playing on Round Midnight is stunningly beautiful.

#coffee time. I have about 8 different ways to make coffee at home. Last summer a relative brought me this funky one-cup cloth filter brewer from Brasil. It brews a wonderful cup - very clean and lots of extraction. This wonderful coffee is a washed Catimor from Honduras roasted by @touchy.coffee
