Fifth time I've said this but DAMN I really just wanna animate and not have to hassle with storyboards or figure out how to do sound 90% of the time

I wanna work on cool 2D animated projects but every time I get invited or try to do my own I find a magical way to screw up or it fails miserably

you have to draw or write all that weird shit you think of in your head, and make it as true to itself as you can. because if you dont someone will do it before you do and then they'll get famous for it and then you'll be like "I thought of this first" and noone will believe u and then u cry forever

If I'd disliked the politics on Twitter to the point of leaving it I'd have left when I just started on there. That cancer DID grow more and more with Musk's ownership, but it also took with it the site's useful features that people used it for, plus the grifting extortion of everything

The only plus side it had over this site (well, aside from not censoring fiction) was a comprehensive media tab. That's the only useful thing Musk did

I know people left b/c of politics and I get it, I left b/c Musk was about to implement some horrid policies and early November was a breaking point

Twitter discourse popping up again - see I didn't really abandon Twitter because I disliked the politics

It was growing less functional, there were bots galore, you had to go through a dozen hoops to do anything, it was growing into a security nightmare, and Elon gutted everything useful with it

And as someone who has some difficulty reading the room and understanding social cues, I completely understand the struggle with people who do too. But just something I wanted to share from experience. ^^
