"Lords of Vegas" has some of the feel of Acquire - but with more push-and-pull using targeted aggression, and dice.

"Eternal Decks" is a co-op with a very lightly applied theme but an interesting aesthetic.

Play cards to accomplish goals (including adding cards to your deck). Someone can't make a legal play or ran out of cards = game over. You can communicate where you can play, but not what's in your hand.

"Hot Streak". Bet on racers, which move based on a shared deck that everyone adds cards to.

The minis are very nice, which adds to the spectacle.

This was good - mostly cinnamon flavor with a teensy tiny bit of fruit flavor.

The high fog and wet street makes this feel just on the edge of dystopian cyber-punk future.

History of the World (Z-Man edition).

I could definitely see Vinci/Small World evolving from this. Each round you draft a new civ and an ability (or smaller additional civ), use them to cut a swathe through existing ones, then score points. You need to be ok with the impermanence of your actions.

This actually tastes pretty decent - not like turkey, but like Stove-top stuffing

I think more comic should do this - bundle complete runs of back issues together:

Lady making a raclette sandwich - the black boxes are heaters that warm the cheese, then they scrape off a warmed later of cheese into the sandwich with ham and pickles.

Cafe opened nearby - for their grand opening they are giving out tokens good for 1 free sandwich, coffee, and bowl. Usable immediately or in the future.

It's a block-breaker (like Breakout or Arkanoid), but as a dungeon-crawl.

You collect rubies and buy power-ups, fight enemies and bosses, choose which direction to exit rooms in, and get keys to unlock new rooms.

Small World - of Warcraft.

Some interesting changes that increase considerations for positioning and holding locations. Good for experienced Small World players, but adds some hurdles for new players.
