Go Cards! Go democracy!

This is an important datapoint
In 2021, McConnell successfully filibustered a Democratic CR ahead of a government shutdown and forced them to accept a clean one instead. What happened this week - a total cave on a totally partisan long-term funding bill - hasn’t happened in the 20 years I’ve covered Congress.

Two thoughts I have so far this holiday season:

1. It’s wild how many people are ready to seal their love for another in holiday movies with a first kiss in front of a room full of people (the only unbelievable part of those movies, obviously).

2. GO CARDS!!!

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

After Musk got out of a lawsuit by the Philly DA by stating that the $1M daily giveaway for signing a petition wasn't a lottery because it wasn't random, he's now being sued by people who signed the petition for fraud, as he repeatedly said it was random

Really crossing my fingers and holding my breath on some of these follows. Think verification is a must add feature.
I think this platform really needs a verification system and that need will only become more urgent over the next few weeks
