while I prefered KOTOR II

this doesn't surprise me at all, and I'd say its a spot well earned (even if it wouldn't be my top choice)

KOTOR was a really solid game for its time

Its an interesting ideology to read up on from a "huh, never really heard of this" kinda way.. popular from the 16th - late 19th century

kinda disappeared around ww1 iirc

there was even an entire genre of literature based around it for a period

i was telling someone about the book Bear we had to read in highschool here, and how it was one of the rare modernish books to touch on Libertinism

And it just dawned on me how weird it is that, the old school of thought that seems most suited for the internet, is not one of the ones that resurged
