All this talk of short stories is leading me to the local (independent) bookshop now! Someone in town has started a silent book club - it involves tea, cake, sit together and read in silence and I’m very invested in that.

Absolutely love short stories which maybe why Help the Witch appealed so much. Rose Tremain’s The Garden of the Villa Mollini and Susanna Clarke’s The Ladies of Grace Adieu have permanent places in my life. Look forward to seeing what you might do next.
