The goal isn't to be Pollyanna, it's to kick off weights that you may not have realized you were wearing, to unshackle chains that you didn't know were holding you back. It's to get out from under the fug of constant gloom and despair and a feeling of pointlessness.

If you want an easy task for making 2026 a less dire year, do a social media audit of sorts. Do your best to notice what you're feeling when you're reading BlueSky or Facebook or scrolling Instagram or TikTok. How do you feel when you're done? Better? Or worse? And why?
