I agree. And I believe the end goal is to privatize it. Once it’s sufficiently gutted that plan will be rolled out. I spent a decade as a libertarian - friends with people who planned J6 - and that was always their plan.

IIRC it was 2018 when the Mises caucus took over the party. That pushed it hard right for a couple years prior to COVID anyway. But COVID is when I learned that it was most definitely a pipe dream.
