If I could say one sentence to cats and make them understand it, it would probably be, “If you are going to puke, please do it on a hard surface.”

Watching BBC news about the lynx in Scotland and wondering where the heck would you get a couple of lynx from to release in the first place? #genuinequestion

Why do pillows these days have to be for side sleepers, or back or front sleepers? Can you not just buy a basic pillow that's for someone who sleeps in all these positions?

The guilt of stopping a book part way through is immense. I have to leave it by my bed for a few weeks before I'm emotionally ready to take it to the charity shop. #books #reading
You’re not violating a reading rule if you opt not to finish a book that's not resonating with you. Life is finite and we thus have a finite number of books to read. Reading shouldn’t be a chore. You needn’t feel guilty for ensuring that your time reading is spent reading things that you love.

Word of the day is ‘librocubicularist’: one who loves nothing better than reading in bed.

Atm, Bluesky has the feel of the early days of Twitter. Back when it was a fun place to be. I'm hopeful it continues this way. #cautiouslyoptimistic

I don’t know how to tell you this, but the point of buying books is to, at some point, read them.

I know. It was surprising to me too. 😭
