I had a buddy who worked for RealNetworks here in Seattle from 2000 to 2002. They had a bowling alley in the basement of their HQ building that he brought me to once.
I guess what I'm saying is that their HQ was way cooler than their software.

I also can't help but feel like there would be a lot less interest in gambling on every possible thing if people had their basic needs met, and felt like they could thrive and maybe even get ahead in a fair economy.
But when day-to-day life is rigged against them, they turn to other options…
