Spring maintenance on the trusty 4 wheeler. CV joint boot replacement. Messy but easy.
Honda 4 wheeler shaft removal. Detach shock and lower bracket. Front wheel drive axle removed. Note inner boot ripped, outer boot intact. Outer joint race, minus ball bearings.

Compact thunder shower passed over Keystone Ridge at 6:15pm. 0.20” of rain with pea sized hail. Occasional lightning and thunder. #myalaskawx

Clearing out icestorm deadfall and ladder fuels. Many spruce broke in half creating new ladder fuel as the tops dangle to the ground. #myalaskawx #firewise

We wrote a letter to Sen Sullivan in response to the many public employees fired and programs terminated within NOAA and the NWS and the increased risk to Alaskans.
Ironically, Sullivan defended the reckless acts of the president quoting the “Take Care Clause” of the constitution. 🙄
Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution states, in part, "[The President] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed." This clause, the Take Care Clause, has been cited by constitutional scholars and lawyers for generations as the basis for why the President can delay or withhold funds that have been authorized by Congress.
