🪶 Took the binocs and went down to the lakeside to do some birding. There were a lot of gulls and then these two. At least the grebe is new to me.

🍽️ 🍜 Tonight’s supper: chicken schnitzel on a bed of arugula with honey mustard BBQ sauce for dipping. If I had bought all the chicken breasts the recipe called for they would have cost over $40!! I drew the line and there was still plenty 😅.

🍽️ 🍜 At Mercato restaurant in Calgary last evening. The lighting was poor for these pics, but the food was outstanding: rigatoni alla gricia with sides of mushrooms and prosciutto-wrapped grilled asparagus. Savoured and loved every bite 😋
