Precies, maar Europa moet Trump nu wel duidelijk maken dat we de Verenigde Staten keihard kunnen raken als hij met zijn poten aan Groenland komt. Daar zijn veel gematigde Amerikanen zich trouwens heel erg van bewust. Gisteren op tv: 'Militair gaan ze niet winnen, financieel maakt Europa ons kapot'.
Het is natuurlijk goed dat Europa niet bijvoorbaat het potje hamer slingeren, landjepik en verpissen meespeelt. Dat is geen teken van zwakte, maar van wijsheid.
