He who gets a treat at 8pm is thoroughly confused by the clock change. This picture comes with a low rumbling grumble with occasional high pitched whining.

Oops, almost missed International Dog Day. Happiness is my writing muse, Artoo, whining at me to do something for him... Usually stroking him while he slides to the floor and gets comfy.

Could anyone identify some of the trees in this photo? Sorry it's not the best photo, I had to screenshot from Google Maps.

Two lines of my WIP that I've just come to. Awesome. Now I have to figure out why someone who adamantly NOT going to a funeral decides to go...🤦 I need chocolate for this! Bearing in mind, this is supposed to be an editing round, not a writing round! #AmWriting

There’s a whopping 75% discount on the paperback edition of The Clock in My Mother’s House on Amazon UK, RIGHT NOW!

Described recently as ‘quirky’, people take different things from this eclectic collection. Why not grab yourself a copy and see what you think?

"... this book left me speechless! At times it took my breath away! There just doesn’t seem to be enough words to describe how amazing yet hard hitting this book is!"

Happy 5th anniversary to my first novel, Grace & Serenity.

ONE TUESDAY, EARLY is set on the longest day of the year, and hey! it's the longest day of the year. (Marketing genius😉)

I've just spent half an hour updating my book prices on Amazon due to the royalty % going down. I feel a little sad now, but I also like to make a bit of money on each sale.

The books are slightly more expensive than a pint, but last far longer.

The day I took my novel, Small Forgotten Moments, to the beach that inspired it.

Is Zenna a muse, a sleep-deprived apparition, or something much more sinister?

A coming-of-age book with adult character? How does that work?
A traumatic teenage experience causes Julia to retreat into daydreams and let her parents to treat her like she's still 15.
But a new work colleague makes her question the fortress she's built. (TW suicide)

Sunday vibes, and happy Easter. I've got a list of jobs this morning, writing all afternoon, and dinner with family this evening. My muse might take some persuading though, he's looking sleepy.

A rare photo of an author in the wild (or at least, not behind their desk). It's an action shot 😉

My event was held at the wonderful Castle Heritage Centre in Bude, who have a full programme of events throughout the summer, so pop along if you're nearby.

Got cider, got rugby, got an awkward chapter opening to write. Haven't got the dexterity to include all 3 events in the photo.
