Truly enjoyed a visit to the museum of the Hungarian artist Tivadar Csontváry in Pécs today (part of my weekend program during the research stay!). Here is Csontvary's painting "Jajce power plant at night".

Eudaimonia lecture 2025 by Krithika Srinivasan (U Edinburgh) "Nature without #Conservation" @unioulu.bsky.social: on #wilderness and #care, (un)wanted companions and lessons for #cohabitation. Krithika suggests moving beyond care in conservation, although I would also keep rethinking care.

Raspberry quartzite – a unique stone extracted only from a quarry near the village of Shoksha in northwest Russia. It was used in the construction of Napoleon's tomb and Lenin's Mausoleum. This is the stone that started my PhD research ten years ago.
